Athletes have been using sports coaches for years to greatly improve their performance because they, as any other human being, possess a natural ability, skills and talent but have understood, as not everyone have, they need all the help they can get to bring those abilities to fruition.
Yes, they had a great deal of potential, but they became great winners because of individual coaching.
We all have a great deal of unique potential, skills and abilities.
Did you know that Michael Jordan had a "shooting" coach (among the other 5 coaches he used) to win 6 championship rings and untold MVP awards?
Did you know that Tiger Woods used a "swing" coach before he won the four consecutive major golf tournaments?
The life coaching process is not limited to athletics or personal training. The life coaching process will assist you to truly discover and apply your natural abilities, skills and potential to achieve a vast array of goals in the personal, business, work, and family areas of your life.
We all have the misconception that because we “travel though our life,” because we live, we know all about our life. Would make sense to you to believe that just because you travel by airplane you know all there is to know about airplanes?
A Life Coach will help you enormously to become more resourceful in your work and any other area of your life. A life coach’s job is to look for and call forth your inner strengths and capacities existing in you and apply them more effectively in your life.
In fact, in order to make significant changes in our lives, we often have to go to the edge of our abilities and capacities. It’s here where a Life Coach will empower you to recognize your ability in making the changes you want in your life.
In my Life Coaching model, I emphasize that clients have the answers, I emphasize that clients know their agenda. My Coach’s job is to make sure the agenda doesn’t get lost and help the client to articulate their dreams, desires and aspirations, help them clarify their mission, purpose, and goals, and help them achieve that outcome.
In my Life Coaching model, I stand on the certainty that clients really are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole and capable of finding the answers they need.
When they look inside, with the help of my coaching, they’ll find they know themselves, their strengths, and their limitations. They’ll also discover what they want, what they fear, what motivates them, and what holds them back, their purpose and their mission, and where they betray themselves.
They usually may never have sought the answer before a Coach asks the question – the question that creates the channel of self-discovery – but the answer has always been there, deeply within the client.
People often seem resigned to live a life out of balance, unfulfilled and incomplete, as if that’s just the way life is. There is only one way to look at it, and it looks bad.
A Life Coach allows clients to live more fully in a deeper relationship with all aspects of their lives.
